Bridal Makeup
At Bold Eye Beauty, I approach every makeup application on a client as if it’s the most important day of their life, and I will be there to equip them with their very best radiant face on that day!
However… Brides are my special pride and sweet spot. I like to connect and listen to what my bride wants. I’ve never met a bride/bridal party I didn’t get on like a house party on fire, and that’s important, as we want those special morning hours of getting ready with family and friends to be as memorable and smooth as possible.
Trials are essential, and I recommend booking a trial at least 3-6 months before the big day; beginning a good skin routine day and night as early as possible is a great way to ensure a stunning makeup application! Starting well in advance allows plenty of time to have any treatments and see their results. With salons closed currently due to Covid 19, there is plenty I can advise that can be done at home.
It lets you decide how ‘natural radiant bride’ or ‘modern bold bride’ you want to go! It is amazing how many varied opinions of what a ‘natural radiant bride’ is; what is not enough for one bride could be too much for another.
A trial application will let you see how the products last for the day and how they act on your skin; I use lots of different high-end brands that I trust implicitly to deliver the best results; of course, if there is something you the bride would like to use of your own, that is no problem, or you wish only to use vegan or a particular brand this can all be addressed during your trial. If there is anything you would like to be happier with, we have time to make adjustments until you are 100% satisfied with the makeup look. You will say ‘’I do’’ in! It’s your day!
I always give my bride a mini pack of essential items to see you through the day if you need a touch-up between meals. Bold Eye Beauty is a mobile, Dublin-based outfit that travels nationwide; I’ll come to your house, hotel, and venue.
If you have several bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and groom/bride and bride requiring makeup on the day, then I have a brilliant team of MUAs who can assist. I do most of the work, but we always have a backup for more faces than time.
